I Corinthians 11:15”But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.”I have been growing my hair out for some time and now, just cause. Not there is a cause. No more bangs no more “well I’ll just layer a little here and there.” Woman should stand out- look different.
Too often today the game, “is that a man or a woman” played. Woman and men should look differently. They should be easily known apart. Our hair is referred to as our glory! Let it flow!

Modesty, class, embracing being a female. All this comes with wearing a skirt. Now before I go into this I will say if you come into my job I am still wearing pants there but am working on how to change this…Let’s continue.Deuteronomy 22:5 (NIV)”A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this.”A lot of people will say this has to do with the act of cross dressing. Purposely trying to change yourself into the sex in which God did NOT create you. This could very well be the case, but why not take it a step further if it is, eh?I skirt/dress were always worn by woman for the longest time and then came the normality of them being in pants, as the men did. Don’t get me wrong ladies, I think that woman’s rights are indeed important please don’t make this a polictical thing..
All I am saying is:Cover yourselves modestly— skirts don’t fit your every curve. They shouldn’t show off your thighs.Stand out— look different from the guys, embrace being a woman.Sacrifice— going from jeans and a t maybe a hoodie being my favorite outfit, a skirt all the time is definitely a change of pace— but I did it for God. I had had three things changed and it was feeling good.

I love vintage but what I love more is a good DIY. When I saw these Celine leather cuffs pop up on Twitter during the Spring show, I knew I could make these a more immediate reality. A quick trip to M+J Trimming and done!

What you need:

- a yard of ultra suede, about $5

- a large metal ring, about $5

- needle and matching thread, or fabric glue if you’re feeling lazy.

How to do it:

- Start out by cutting about 6 inches off the whole yard of ultrasuede. You will use this for the middle portion of the bracelet. Fold in half and sew on each end of the ring. Trim off excess fabric.

- Use the rest of the ultrasuede and double it. Take the open end and sew it to the ultrasuede bar that you sewed onto the ring. You want the nice end as the tail to the strap. Make sure that all the undersides match up so that you do not have the ugly underside peering from the top.

- Wrap around your wrist twice, using the original photo as a guide to make sure it the strap lines up nicely.

- Tighten and done!

Get to it, Philophiles.

God is all I need.
